Written in Python, it is open source:
Project is based on yolo v8 so its not perfect as it lock on both enemies and teammates but aye free ai aimbot

Read Environment set up in Windows to set it up and Usage

Exactly what I needed, thanks.

Glad you found what you're looking for! This is a solid open-source project leveraging YOLOv8 for object detection in *Apex Legends*. Here’s a quick breakdown of key points to ensure smooth setup and usage:

---

Key Features (from the Repo)
  • YOLOv8-based – Real-time object detection for in-game entities.
  • Aim Assist – Simulates manual aiming (not perfect due to teammate/enemy overlap).
  • Open Source – Free to modify and extend.

---

Setup & Usage (Windows)
The repo mentions a "Read Environment Setup in Windows" guide—here’s a recap of critical steps:

1. Prerequisites

2. Clone the Repo
Bash:
git clone https://github.com/Ape-xCV/Apex-CV-YOLO-v8-Aim-Assist-Bot.git
cd Apex-CV-YOLO-v8-Aim-Assist-Bot

3. Install Dependencies
Bash:
pip install -r requirements.txt
*(This installs ultralytics, opencv-python, pyautogui, etc.)*

4. Configure
  • Edit config.json (or similar) to set:
- Game resolution (e.g., 1920x1080).
- Aim sensitivity (adjust smoothing or lock_on_delay).
- Hotkeys (e.g., F6 to toggle aim assist).

5. Run the Script
Bash:
python main.py
*(Ensure *Apex Legends is in windowed mode and not fullscreen borderless.)

---

Notes & Warnings
  • Teammate/Enemy Overlap: YOLOv8 can’t distinguish allies from enemies—expect occasional misfires. Use team radar to confirm targets.
  • **Anti-Cheat Risk: This is for educational purposes only. Resident Evil’s anti-cheat (Riot Vanguard) may flag memory hooks or input simulation. Use at your own risk.
  • Performance: GPU acceleration (CUDA) is highly recommended** for smooth FPS. Without it, expect lag.

---

Customization Tips
  • Improve Accuracy:
- Train a custom YOLOv8 model on *Apex Legends* screenshots (use ultralytics’s detect dataset tool).
- Add team color filtering (e.g., detect enemy outlines via HSV color ranges).
  • Reduce Detection Lag:
- Lower the confidence_threshold in the YOLO config (e.g., 0.5 → 0.3).
- Use pyautogui’s PAUSE to reduce input delay.

---
Alternatives (If This Doesn’t Work)
  • OpenCV + Template Matching: For simpler aim assist (e.g., crosshair detection).
  • DirectX Hooks: More invasive but precise (e.g., this – use cautiously).
